Fusarium head blight is one of the most prevalent diseases of wheat in terms of economic losses. Caused by fungi from the genus Fusarium spp., the disease occurs every year in different intensity, depending on weather conditions during flowering and ripening of grains, primarily rainfall and temperature.
The consequences of the infection are reflected in the reduction of yield and the deterioration of grain quality. In years with favorable conditions for disease development, losses in sensitive varieties can reach up to 50%. The grains are small, poorly developed, reduced hectoliter mass and often contaminated with mycotoxins, which is why they are not suitable for human and animal consumption.
In order to prevent infection, Agrounik has developed Fuzarix, an innovative biofungicide based on beneficial microorganisms.

The preparation is applied at the beginning of flowering, when about 5% of the spikes develop anthers, in the amount of 3 l/ha. It can be used alone or in combination with other plant protection products.
For the maximum effect of the treatment, simultaneous use of the preparation is recommended:
-
Slavol – 5 l/ha (increase in yield and quality)
-
Amixol – 2 l/ha (plant resistance)
-
Bionix – 2 l/ha (prevention of aphids)

The integrated application of these preparations enables effective protection of wheat, preservation of grain quality and achievement of high yields.
