SKADIX is a biological fungicide for protecting fruits and vegetables from rotting during storage.
It prevents the development of storage pathogens and their spread after harvesting, preserving the quality, firmness and market value of the fruits. It is suitable for application before storage in both organic and conventional production.

Description

SKLADIX is a registered biological fungicide for controlling storage pathogens on fruits and vegetables.
It is intended to protect the fruits after harvesting, when rotting and rapid spread of diseases occur most often during transport and storage.

Typical problems often occur in warehouses:

These diseases are easily transmitted by contact between fruits and can cause large losses in a short time.

The use of chemical fungicides in this phase is often not desirable due to the shelf life and possible pesticide residues in the food.

SKLADIX contains beneficial probiotic bacteria that inhabit the surface of the fruit and prevent the development of pathogens. The preparation is safe to use, leaves no residue on fruits and is suitable for organic and conventional production.

SKLADIX acts preventively on the surface of the fruit after harvesting.

After application, beneficial bacteria quickly colonize the skin of the fruit and form a protective microbiological layer. In this way, they occupy the space and nutrients that pathogenic fungi need for development.

The preparation prevents the occurrence of the most common storage rots because it works through several mechanisms:

Biological competition

Beneficial bacteria are the first to colonize the surface of the fruit and prevent pathogens from developing and spreading from fruit to fruit.

Antimicrobial action

The bacteria secrete natural metabolites that inhibit the germination of spores and the development of the mycelia that cause rot.

Protecting the wound on the fetus

In places of minor damage (harvesting, transport), a protective layer is formed that prevents the penetration of pathogens into the interior of the fruit.

In practice, the pathogen does not have the conditions to start an infection, so the rot in the warehouse is significantly reduced, and the storage time of the fruits is extended.

SKLADIX contains selected beneficial bacteria from the genus Bacillus (probiotic microorganisms of natural origin).

After application, these bacteria inhabit the surface of the fruit and form a stable protective microflora that:
