We are a family company founded in 2002.
Our mission is to engage in research in the field of biotechnology, development of new products and active substances, production, distribution and sale of microbiological preparations with application in agricultural production and environmental protection.
The industrial production of microbiological fertilizer SLAVOL was started in 2005 according to the recipe of Prof. Dr. Snežane Đorđević. The results of the application of Slavol products in the yield and quality of various crops were quickly recognized by agricultural producers, and on that basis our company began to develop.
Agrounik has 20 registered and certified products in its product range that are used as biofertilizers for soil treatment, seeds and foliar feeding, biopesticides, as well as inoculants for silage preparation and wastewater treatment.
In addition to existing products, Agrounik is engaged in innovation and development activities through its daughter company Biounik. It is the holder of several successfully completed domestic and European projects aimed at developing new innovative solutions in agriculture and ecology. Also, Agrounik connects
regional institutes and faculties of natural sciences in its projects and engages the most recognized experts in the fields of molecular biology, plant protection and microbiology. All preparations are the intellectual property of Agrounik and are protected by a patent.
The company’s headquarters and production facility and warehouse capacity of 5000m2 are located in Šimanovci, next to the Belgrade-Šid highway.
A team of 12 regional managers – agricultural engineers distributes the production program daily to our partners and educates consumers on the territory of Serbia.

The founding of the company was initiated by Agrounik’s desire to market its products in Croatia as well as in other EU countries. The headquarters and distribution center of the company are located in Trpinja near Vukovar.
Agro-nika employs agricultural engineers who sell products from the Agronika range in Srem, Slavonia, Baranja and Zagorje.
Also, our team of 4 agricultural engineers provides expert advice for the protection and nutrition of plants and animal nutrition.

Agrounik BIH
Founded in 2014 with the aim of providing a high-quality response to the demand for products on the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as educating the market about our production program and creating a sales network.
Today, our products are present in over 200 agricultural pharmacies in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
A team of two agricultural engineers educates and distributes our products on the market.

The microbiology laboratory is equipped with equipment for performing standard microbiological methods of isolation and identification of microorganisms from natural environments. Their cultivation, production and extraction of metabolites is carried out in modern controlled fermentation conditions in a bioreactor, which is controlled and monitored via SCADA software. Also, automatic identification of microorganisms is performed using the Crystal autoreader.
The plant physiology laboratory is equipped for quantitative and qualitative determination of the content of plant hormones using biological and ELISA (Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay) tests. Physiological tests on plants are carried out in hatcheries, phytotrons and greenhouses. Experiments are carried out throughout the year in a modernly equipped greenhouse where we test our new active substances.
The silage testing laboratory has modern equipment for determining the quality of silage based on the content of acids, proteins, fats, cellulose, ADF (Acid Detergent Fiber) and NDF (Neutral Detergent Fiber).
The PCR laboratory is equipped for the isolation of genomic DNA using modern methods of molecular biology, gene amplification for 16 S RNA using PCR (Polymer Chain Reaction), confirmation of the presence of genes by horizontal electrophoresis and detection using a UV-transilluminator.
The laboratory for agrochemistry has modern equipment for soil analysis. For individuals and legal entities, we conveniently, quickly and precisely perform a basic soil analysis on the basis of which we make recommendations for fertilization and proper use of the land.
Subsidiary company in Macedonia
Agrounik founded its daughter company in Macedonia in 2017, with the aim of bringing products and technology closer to agricultural producers through direct contact, as well as providing support to long-standing partners.
Products from our assortment, which are the intellectual property of Agrounik and are protected by a patent, have been present on the Macedonian market for over 10 years. Agrounik biofertilizers for soil treatment, seeds and foliar feeding, as well as inoculants for preparing silage and purifying waste water, have found application in vegetable growing, fruit growing and farming.
Agrounik Makedonija employs an agricultural engineer who visits agricultural pharmacies and producers every day, in order to create an offer of our products in the territory of North Macedonia, and on the other hand to raise the demand for the same.
The company in Macedonia is another step towards our goal – to become a regional leader in research, development, production, distribution and sale of preparations based on microorganisms and their metabolites.
Subsidiary company in Russia
Agrounik founded its daughter company Agrounik Rus in Moscow. Our company registered the Slavol brand and started placing it on the Russian market 2 years ago, in cooperation with the company Tehnoexport from Sergiev Posada.
Considering the great interest in our Slavol, we have made the decision to provide support to our partners by hiring professional staff, direct access and education of agricultural producers and raising demand.
Agrounik Rus was founded with the aim of marketing our products, educating the market and spreading technology on the territory of Russia and the former Soviet republics. Also, one of the goals of the daughter company is cooperation in the field of scientific research with Institutes throughout the Russian Federation. Research in the field of biotechnology is an extremely important segment of our business, which enables us to create products of the highest quality.

The activities of the Agrounik team imply a rounded process. We engage in scientific research that lays the foundation for our production, while the quality of production and comprehensiveness of distribution set the standard in domestic agriculture.
Production is carried out in Šimanovci near Belgrade. The production facility is equipped with state-of-the-art fermenters for the industrial reproduction of microorganisms and the production of their metabolites.
The production process is automated, with a built-in CIP system for washing and sterilization. Modern electronically controlled packaging lines enable the packaging of products in different types of packaging. Control of the production process as well as the quality of the semi-finished product and the finished product is carried out in each defined phase of the production cycle in modernly equipped laboratories for microbiology and plant physiology.
The warehouse space is equipped with pallet storage and controlled conditions for the storage and storage of finished products.
We have a HACCP certificate that guarantees quality standards at every stage of production and maximum safety for the use of our products in agricultural production.
For the application of our products in organic production, we have the EcoCert certificate, which is accredited by the European Union. The certificate confirms that the application of all our products in organic production is safe for the environment and that the product is completely natural without chemical additives.
Agrounik is the winner of the “International star for leadership in quality Paris 2011” International Award for leadership, technology and innovation, from the International Committee in Paris, which is awarded for good business results, customer satisfaction, planning and decision-making, human resources and production processes.
Agrounik is registered as a development-production center under the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development of the RS (MNPRT), which gives it the ability to carry out research, creation, development, application and placement of innovations.
Agrounik participates in a large number of scientific projects financed by the Fund for Innovation Activity and MNPRT, where it cooperates with numerous official scientific institutions in Serbia and the region: Faculties of Agriculture in Belgrade, Novi Sad, Faculties of Agriculture in Zagreb, Čačak, Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Food in Skopje, Faculty of Chemistry in Belgrade and Institute for Molecular Genetics and Genetic Engineering in Belgrade, etc.
SLAVOL, as the first recognizable product of the company Agrounik, received a number of awards, among which we highlight the gold medal – “EUREKA” in Brussels in 2005, the “IDEA” gold medal in 2005 in Hungary and the patent award of the Belgrade Chamber of Commerce in 2007.
Agrounik is recognized in Serbia and abroad for the implementation of science in the economy: connecting scientific work in the result of which new products are created, their production, application and sale. The results of scientific work are transmitted to agricultural producers through employed agricultural engineers.
In Serbia, Croatia, BiH and Macedonia, there are 30 agricultural engineers in permanent employment who are in daily contact with agricultural producers, provide education on the advantages of applying our technology in organic and conventional production, distribute products, participate in fairs and seminars.
The test results are printed in brochures that are available from a large number of manufacturers. In this way, the motto “science from the laboratory to the field” was realized. For the achieved results, Agrounik has won numerous awards.

Superbrands Serbia was founded by Simeon Tsomokos in 2006 and since then he has been in the role of organizer of TGI Group International d.o.o., a company that deals with corporate communications and event management. The program is run by an affiliated company from Athens, Greece, Symeon G. Tsomokos S.A. (SGT).
In competition with more than 80 countries from all over the world, AGROUNIK d.o.o. is the winner of the International award for leadership, technology and innovation “International star for leadership in quality Paris 2011”.
The award is given for doing business in accordance with the highest international standards.
Award criteria: good business results, customer satisfaction, planning and decision-making, human resources, production processes. The decision on the award was made by the selection of the International Committee in Paris.
Prof. Dr. Snežana Đorđević, founder and owner of AGROUNIK d.o.o., is the winner of the “Flower of Success for the Dragon Woman” award in 2009. The award was given to it for “the most European female company.” The “Flower of Success for a Dragon Woman” award from the Association of Business Women is the only award intended for the support and affirmation of female entrepreneurship in Serbia. This event gained an international character because the European Commission included the “Flower of Success for the Dragon Woman” in its official program.
AGROUNIK d.o.o. was declared the best small and medium-sized enterprise, and prof. Dr. Snežana Đorđević for entrepreneur in 2008. The prize is awarded by one of the most widely circulated daily newspapers “Blic” and Bank Intesa. The award began to be awarded in 2007, and the organizer’s idea is to encourage the entrepreneurial spirit and give small businesses the space to show their results. In an effort to improve the business climate for entrepreneurs, the project was supported by the Ministries of Economy and Finance, the Agency for Foreign Investment and Business Promotion SIEPA, the Serbian Chamber of Commerce and the National Employment Service.

The exhibition is organized by the Association “Idea – Club 13” from Hungary and is one of the most important international manifestations in this field.
Prof. Snežana Đorđević, Ph.D., won an award for innovation at the International Fair of Innovation, Research and New Technologies for the SLAVOL recipe. The award was presented to her in 2005. Brussels Eureka is the most significant world fair event in this area.
Recognition at the very beginning of the production of Slavol shows that the unique formula of this fertilizer was immediately recognized as a new dimension in fertilization not only in Serbia but throughout the world.
AGROUNIK d.o.o. is the winner of the Gold Medal of the Novi Sad Fair for the production of microbiological fertilizer SLAVOL. The prize was awarded in 2004 at the International Entrepreneurship Fair.
From the very beginning of SLAVOL production, the quality of this fertilizer has been recognized as a new dimension in fertilization. AGROUNIK d.o.o. proved with his product that it is possible to translate scientific work into a product and then successfully market it. The award at the International Entrepreneurship Fair in Novi Sad is just a confirmation that AGROUNIK d.o.o. was on the right track from the very beginning.
Prof. Dr. Snežana Đorđević, who created the recipe for the natural microbiological fertilizer SLAVOL, won a silver plaque at the International Fair of Innovation, Knowledge and Creativity “Tesla Fest” in 2004.
The silver plaque at this event bearing the name of one of the world’s most famous inventors, Nikola Tesla, confirms that SLAVOL, with its specific formula, represents a real patent.
The organizer of “Tesla Fest” is the Association of Inventors of Serbia. More than 300 exhibitors from different European countries participate in this event every year.
For the application of SLAVOL in organic production, AGROUNIK was awarded the ETKO international certificate. For quality that meets the highest international standards and exceptional business results, Agrounik is the winner of the “International star for leadership in quality Paris 2011” certificate.
Agrounik d.o.o. is the winner of the international certificate of Bureau Veritas, a global leader in the field of testing, inspection and certification of biotechnological products, with a representative office in our country.
The ISO 9001:2015 certificate was awarded to our company for outstanding achievements in the production of microbiological fertilizers and wastewater treatment, which meet all the standards of the international community.
The ISO 9001 certificate is an award for the successful efforts of the Agrounik company to implement innovative solutions and demanding criteria to improve the performance of its products and reduce harm to the natural environment and the human factor.
