Apple is a fruit species that is grown in Serbia on about 30,000 ha and as such occupies a leading position in fruit production. The vegetation period of this fruit species is the longest, and accordingly, there are the greatest opportunities for infection by various pathogens and pests. After a period of dormancy, the apple enters the first significant phenophase swelling and budding, followed by the mouse ear phenophase. In these phenophases, the infection is carried out by pathogens that have passed in cracks on the trunk, branches as well as in the folds of the buds. Also, it is necessary to reduce the population of overwintering forms of insects for the coming vegetation. The phenophases, which include the time from bud swelling to the end of flowering, can be broken down in more detail: swelling, separation of leaflets, emergence of leaf tip (mouse ears phase), green head phase, emergence phase of crown leaflets of still unopened flowers, phase of open top flower, etc. A detailed analysis of the phenophases is of particular importance in the precise determination of the terms of protection, fertilization, irrigation, etc.
In the phenophases of bud swelling and mouse ears, the Agrounik company recommends treatment with biofungicide and biobactericide ERWIX in a concentration of 1%, as protection against pathogens that attack the genus Malus. For effective protection against low temperatures that may occur in this period, it is necessary to apply a combined treatment of NIKA SUPER 2l/ha and AMIKSOL 2-3l/ha.
ERWIX contains bacteria of the genus Bacillus spp., the bacteria it possesses synthesize secondary metabolites auxin (indole-3-acetic acid (IAA)) and suffractin, which create a biofilm and enable survival on the plant. The biofilm formed by the use of the Erwix preparation, that is, the beneficial bacteria in its composition, protects plants and prevents the formation of a biofilm of harmful bacteria and infection by phytopathogenic fungi.
Late spring frosts can be devastating to plants in terms of yield. It often happens, even though the buds do not completely freeze, damage occurs in the form of deformation of the apple fruit or the appearance of a rusty coating, which affects the reduction of the percentage of the first class, and therefore financial loss.
The advice of the Agrounik company is to strengthen the immunity of plants and thereby prevent harmful consequences, which is achieved with the preparation AMIKSOL based on amino acids of plant origin in the L-form.
- This form of amino acids is quickly absorbed through the leaves, i.e. it has a fast passage through the cell membrane and is directly involved in protein synthesis, which controls all processes in the plant: Synthesis of enzymes, chlorophyll, plant hormones, development of leaves, fruits, roots.
- When the plant is in a state of stress (due to high or low temperature, inadequate water regime, disturbed nutrition, damage from hail, pests, diseases), the synthesis of amino acids and proteins is reduced.
- By using Amixol, free L-amino acids are quickly involved in protein synthesis, as a result of which the plant recovers quickly.
This preparation, in combination with NIKA SUPER liquid fertilizer, shows excellent results when it comes to low temperatures. NIKA SUPER is an inorganic, complex, liquid NPK fertilizer with Mg and trace elements in chelated form. This form is important because it allows for proper growth and development and obtaining stable and high yields, because their adaptability from the plant stand is far better compared to forms that are not.
By applying AMIKSOL 2-3l/ha and NIKA SUPER 2l/ha, it is possible to remove/alleviate plant stress caused by unfavorable climatic conditions, in this case low temperatures in sensitive stages of plant development. You can use this recipe for other types of fruit, not just apples.
In these phenophases, the company Agrounik proposes Nika Fert inorganic, complex crystalline, solid NPK 20 20 20 fertilizer with microelements. This fertilizer can be applied to all types of soil. It affects the formation of the root system and increases the resistance of plants to diseases, stimulates flowering and ripening of fruits. The recommendation for its application is 50 kg/ha through the irrigation system, repeat 2-3 times. It can also be applied foliarly at 2-3 kg/ha. It has excellent dissolving power.
In order for its adoption to be better, as well as the adoption of micro and macro elements that are already in the soil and are not accessible to plants, UNISTART should be added at this stage. UNISTART is a microbiological fertilizer, which affects the mobilization and immobilization of nutrient elements. In addition, it prevents soil salinization and affects the availability of nutrients in the amount and form that is optimal for plant nutrition. UNISTART contains strains of bacteria (proteolytic and cellulolytic), which break down difficult-to-dissolve C, N and P compounds and translate them into accessible forms in plants. They form a thin mucous coating on the surface of the root, and there they convert all the compounds inaccessible to plants into accessible elements and deliver them directly to it. Application of UNISTART: 3 l/ha for apple fruit by spraying in strips along the rows or through a watering system 10l/ha.
Wetting agent LEPILO is a microbiological preparation, which improves the action of pesticides and foliar fertilizers. It increases absorption and translocation, affects better adhesion of deposits and reduces the risk of being washed away by rain and degradation under the influence of sunlight. It is necessary to apply it with each treatment 0.1%, for the sake of better adoption of the deposit, and therefore for better and longer action.
