After double fertilization of the strawberry, the seed embryos develop into seeds and in the process secrete phytohormones that stimulate the growth of flowers into juicy fruit.
Strawberry fruit growth, depending on the variety and weather conditions, lasts from 20 to 40 days. In the course of development, the fruit goes through three stages. In the first stage, the cells of the forming tissue are intensively divided, while in the second, the cells are elongated. After the division, the cells of the central fleshy part enlarge, whereby their growth is primarily in length, and only then in width, and due to uneven enlargement, narrow intercellular spaces are created. This leads to the formation of an internal cavity. The same thing happens with the cells of the bark layer, while the tissues immediately below the skin do not have pronounced intercellular spaces and their cells divide all the time until the fruit ripens. The third stage is characterized by numerous biochemical changes, where, among other things, aromatic substances are formed.
The primary fruits in the inflorescence are the largest and the first to ripen, and the size of the other fruits progressively decreases as they move away from the primary flower, i.e. the fruit. Thus, the size of secondary fruits is on average 80%, tertiary 47%, and quaternary 32% compared to the size of the primary fruit.
In the stage of strawberry fruit growth, it is necessary to carry out effective treatments that will ensure high-quality, large and healthy fruits.
The recommendation of the company Agrounik is the liquid microbiological fertilizer Slavol VVL, certified for use in organic and traditional production. Slavol VVL increases the total yield, ensures exceptional size and color of the fruits in the recommended amount of application of 5 liters/ha. In combination with the preparation AMIKSOL, based on easily absorbable plant amino acids in the amount of 2-3 liters/ha, the effectiveness of the treatment is complete. The firmness of the fruits, which is very important for storage and transportability, is extremely affected by the preparation NikaCa in the amount of 2-3 lit/ha.
With each treatment, add the bio-wetting agent LEPILO in the amount of 100 ml/ha.
