AIRONE WG is a modern copper fungicide and bactericide with a patented WG formulation, intended for effective and safe protection of fruits, vegetables, vines and ornamental plants. The combination of two active forms of copper provides a rapid initial and prolonged protective effect.

The use of copper fungicides in agriculture began at the end of the 19th century. Bordeaux mixture was the first commercial copper-based fungicide used to control vine blight. Thanks to the high efficiency in suppressing a wide range of plant pathogens, copper preparations are still today the standard in the protection of a large number of cultivated crops.
AIRONE WG represents an improved generation of copper fungicides. The patented formulation in the form of water-soluble granules (WG) enables stability, uniform dispersion and reliable protection with an optimized amount of applied copper.
Copper fungicides are permitted for use in a large number of plant species, with a legal limit of up to 4 kg of copper per hectare per year, while the maximum permitted amount of copper in fruits is 5 mg/kg. Thanks to the reduced amount of copper per treatment and the high efficiency of the formulation, AIRONE WG can be safely used in all registered crops in compliance with current regulations.
