Raspberry is a perennial bushy deciduous flowering plant. For the successful cultivation of raspberries, it is necessary to fulfill certain requirements related to the agrotechnics and auxiliary techniques of this fruit species. However, in order to fulfill all these requirements, we must have a good knowledge of the physiology of this species as well as the needs in certain phenophases of its development. <\/p>\n
During the annual cycle, raspberries go through the following phenophases:<\/p>\n
Beginning of growth and leafing – During April and the first half of May, new shoots begin to emerge on the surface of the ground. Their growth is most intense from mid-May to the end of June. Two-year-old raspberry shoots begin to leaf in early April, and the beginning and duration of leafing depends on the variety, temperature and other environmental factors. From the bud in the axil of the leaves of two-year-old shoots, fertile twigs are formed. <\/b>Flowering and fertilization – In our raspberry growing areas, raspberries begin to bloom in the second decade of May, and flowering lasts 20 – 30 days, depending on the variety and weather conditions. The difference in flowering between early and late varieties is 6-10 days. Most raspberry cultivars have a hermaphroditic flower. Successful pollination is a prerequisite for fertilization. <\/p>\n
The raspberry fruit is a collective drupe. In order for the collective raspberry fruit to develop normally, it is necessary to carry out pollination in almost all pistils. For this purpose, we recommend the use of microbiological fertilizer SLAVOLA VVL, which contains auxins, hormones of completely natural origin, which play an extremely important role in the growth and development of the pollen tube through the stigma of the pistil, which is the carrier of the vegetative content that needs to be fertilized. By applying SLAVOL VVL, we stimulate the growth of the pollen tube, which reaches the seed embryo faster and thus carries out fertilization. <\/b>Education and development of the fruit – SLAVOL VVL should also be applied in the stages of raspberry fruit development, so in the phenophase of fruit filling, auxin <\/b>from the preparation, they act on faster differentiation and development of cells, and therefore on faster growth and development of the fruit, then they promote photosynthesis, thus the creation of assimilates and better nutrition of plants.
